SUNSET RECORDS

Sunset was started in 1966 as a subsidiary of Liberty, and used for budget reissues of Liberty, Imperial, and Minit material till 1970.

Platters were generally packaged without sleeves and often pressed on a thick polystyrene-type plastic
The Sunset Label was black with silver printing. "SUNSET" was in a box to the left of the center hole, and above "Sunset" were multi-colored wavy lines.

Below the label name is 'A Product of Liberty Records". The left 1/6 of the label is light blue.
Non-US Sunset albums used the same graphics, but with an orange background instead of light blue.

THIS IS FOR INFORMATION ONLY!
